Agreement
By accessing our websites or using Ask a Friend, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services. You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
The service
Ask a Friend provides automated conversational assistance through supported communication channels. Features may include responding to questions, maintaining user-controlled context, processing attachments, and delivering reminders requested by the user. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves.
SMS messaging terms
You enroll in the Ask a Friend SMS program by voluntarily texting 1-888-ASK-2123. Messages are conversational responses to your requests and reminders you explicitly create. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
Responsible use
You are responsible for the content you provide and for how you use responses. You may not use the services to violate law; harm, threaten, or exploit others; infringe rights; distribute malware or unsolicited messages; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with operation; or evade safeguards and usage limits.
AI and professional-advice limitations
Automated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances. Verify important information independently. Ask a Friend is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice and is not an emergency service.
Do not rely on the service where an error could cause death, personal injury, significant financial loss, or other serious harm. Contact local emergency services in an emergency.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and otherwise use that content to operate, secure, and improve the services. You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide the content.
Availability and warranties
The services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gurande Chameshi Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the previous twelve months or CAD $100.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the services at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address violations, comply with law, or discontinue a service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms here and revise the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
